Bensen Days 2024

The popularity of gyroplanes continues on the rise as even more new gyroplane makes and models appear around the world to meet interest and demand. This year also heralds yet another increase in the number of gyroplane flight instructors (CFIs) as well as in gyroplane designated pilot examiners (DPEs). More instructors and examiners means better access to proper training and licensing, making accessibility to gyroplane flying better than ever.

There will be both gyroplane flight instructors (CFIs) and designated pilot examiners (DPEs) at this year’s Bensen Days available for flight instruction and testing. Most will arrive well before the event and prior arrangements must be made to take advantage of their services.

This rendition of the Bensen Days Rotorcraft Event at Wauchula Airport (CHN) in Wauchula, Florida will once again be a “must go, must see” showcase. Expect another banner year and make plans to join those of us with an interest in gyroplanes, helicopters and experimental aircraft.

Earth is becoming a more gyro-friendly place. The increase in online videos from every continent makes this clear. Rotorcraft of all kinds are finding their way into usefulness in ways heretofore never imagined all around the world. We are remarkably fortunate to have Bensen Days here in Florida each year. 

Bensen Days is truly a “World Class” event. One of the oldest and largest of its kind on the planet.
